After weeks of rumours circulating that Katie Price was to tie the knot with her latest love, Leandro Penna, the pair have finally confirmed their engagement.

Leandro Penna proposed to Katie Price while they were on holiday and we're hoping it'll be a case of third time lucky for the model.

Earlier this week the mum-of-three was photographed with a substantial sparkler on her left hand. It was a pink, heart-shaped diamond ring that took pride of place on her ring finger.

The media-savvy model, later tweeted, "Wooo hooo so excited."

Her cryptic messages and jewellery have now been unraveled after Katie's spokesperson confirmed the news to The Sun, saying:

"It's true - they are engaged. Leandro Penna proposed to Katie Price while they were away skiing recently - and she said yes.

"They told her children but had intended to keep it secret for a while.

"No wedding arrangements have been made and they are both relaxed about that for the time being."

The engagement announcement comes before the 33-year-old has finalised her divorce from Alex Reid, although she is anticipating the decree to be granted soon.

The newly engaged celebrity couple locked eyes (and we imagine lips) at Elton John's Oscars party last year, and a blossoming romance emerged.

After a brief split, thought to be because of the language barrier, the pair reunited at the start of the year and have appeared loved up ever since.

Katie Price is no stranger to getting engaged, she was married to Peter Andre for four years and then to Alex Reid although their marital 'bliss' lasted less than a year.
