Despite the fact that Cameron Diaz sported a 'do similar to the iconic one she unintentionally rocked in "There's Something About Mary," the actress managed to outshine nearly all of the other attendees at this year's Costume Institute Gala. 

The blond bombshell -- who has never looked this mature -- oozed elegance in simple Fred Leighton diamond earrings and a shimmering Stella McCartney gown, that although gorgeous, caused her a bit of discomfort. The dress, which originally weighed a whopping 30 lbs., was trimmed back to 22 lbs., but that didn't stop Cam from complaining about her sore joints while chatting with Jimmy Fallon on his talk show the following evening. Hey, sometimes beauty hurts!
